Foxborough School Committee Statement on the Current Collective Bargaining Process
Click Here for the latest Collective Bargaining Updates
The Foxborough School Committee is currently engaged in collective bargaining with its teachers and educational assistants. The School Committee has amicably settled with the secretaries, food service personnel, and extended-day staff. Collective bargaining is a process that generally occurs once every three years.
We are providing this portal so that factual information can be shared with everyone in the community. To be perfectly clear, we value all of our devoted school employees and are grateful to them for the very important work they do.
The School Committee has always, and will continue to, bargain in good faith. As always, our intention and goal is to come to fair agreements. This includes agreements that are fair to the employees, fair to the school district, and fair to the taxpayers of Foxborough.
Finally, as with everything we do, we are guided by what is in the best interests of our students.
